GROW

And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him.  Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him.  Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.

Colossians 2:6-7

ADULTS

From Bible studies to fellowship groups, Middlesettlements offers several ways for you to grow, serve, and be strengthened in your faith.

STUDENTS

Our youth group gathers together every Sunday and Wednesday. Mission trips, service projects, and fellowship events are scattered throughout the year.

WAIT, NO CHILDREN'S CHURCH?

At MUMC, we believe children are important to the church - and that we're important for them. We want them in worship with us -  with all their noisy glory! We think it makes us all better at worshiping God.

Through Kindergarten, we offer an optional nursery that helps prepare children to join us in worship: we play music they would hear in the service, sing, read bible stories, pray, and play (a joyous response to worshiping God!). Parents can utilize the nursery for the entire worship service or just part of it.  We also have a private nursing room open at any time.

By first grade, our kids are with us in the service. We're committed to keeping the services kid-friendly: children's sermons, lots of sitting & standing, simple memorized phrases, busy bags for fidgety hands, and a deep appreciation for kid noises. We would love to have your kids join us in worship!

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Join us for a class on Sundays at 9:30am!  We've got classes for every age and stage, some of them all mixed in together.

BIBLE STUDY

We offer short-term bible studies throughout the year and we usually meet for dinner and discussion on Wednesday evenings.  To see what's being offered now, check here.

PRAYER GROUP

We have a group of devoted believers who pray daily for our church and community.  If you'd like us to pray for you, simply fill in a prayer request form when you're at church, or contact the church office.

UNITED METHODIST WOMEN

U.M.W. is a monthly fellowship and prayer meeting on the third Tuesday of each month at various homes.  They support monthly mission projects and serve all over the church.

JIM OVERTON MEN'S CLUB

Our men aren't bound by regular schedules!  They meet as needed, usually to serve others in the community.  They are especially active with the Louisville Christian Assistance Center.

FELLOWSHIP

We believe getting together helps us "run with perseverance the race marked out for us", so let's get together!  Keep up with us on facebook or check out the events page.

SERVICE

There are always lots of ways to serve!  Our regular opportunities include providing and delivering food to local elementary school families, serving at Louisville Christian Assistance Center, and volunteering with Family Promise.

MUSIC

We love to praise the Lord through song - and we welcome anyone who would like to join us.  If you feel led to sing beyond the pew, email David @ music.middlesettlements@gmail.com. Our choir practices every Wednesday at 6:30pm in the sanctuary.
