The Lenten Season

The Lenten Season begins on ASH WEDNESDAY, February 22. Devotion Booklets have arrived and are on the cabinet in the narthex. This year's theme is "Our Journey Beyond the Cross" and the booklet is entitled, "LIVING PROOF." There is a Daily Meditation to read and we hope you will take a booklet to share with each of your families. It is suggested that you deposit a small sum each day in the BANK which will be dedicated on EASTER SUNDAY to help feed the poor in the USA. The offerings will go to the SOCIETY OF ST. ANDREW. Banks will also be available along with the booklets. On GOOD FRIDAY, there is another booklet with guidelines for a "GOOD FRIDAY" Fast. These will be available on PALM SUNDAY, April 1. Thank you for your co-operation and usual generosity.

Camp Wesley Woods

It’s Time to Register for Summer Camp! All the information you need to sign up for summer camp at Camp Wesley Woods can be found at www.holstoncamping.com. Register online before April 2 to get the early bird discount. Our church offers half off camp scholarships. Please see Karen Lewis for more information (to get the scholarship code). Last summer, we had around 10 children go to camp from our church and they had an excellent time!!! This summer I would love to see some youth go!!

March 3: Depart 2:30 p.m. UT Men's Basketball Game (4:00 p.m.) No food or drink included in price. Eat dinner or snacks at home or at the stadium. Sign up now. Cost $20.00.
March 6: Depart 12:45 p.m. Show 2:00 p.m. Carl Hurley & Jeanne Robertson Knox. Civic Coliseum Dinner Following Sign up now. Cost has not yet been determined.

Camp Scholarships

Camp Scholarships: We need donations to send our children to camp! Please drop your donations in the offering plate and put camp in the memo. Any amount helps. On average most camps are around $300 per week. This is expensive but very worth it! The campers learn so much about God and His creation.
