Want to help?
There are three main ways to help with VBS this year!
First off, there is still a need for decorations to be used during this year's VBS between May 24th through June 7th. These items will be returned and you will be able to pick the up at the conclusion of Bible School. Please look at the list below and see if there is any item that you can donate for our use. Be sure and write your name on the items so they are easily returnable. Please see Starla Davis or JJ Wells if you have items to donate. Thank you and God bless!
- Artificial Christmas Trees
- Stuffed Animals (rabbits/squirrels/bears/ or other animals found in the woods)
- Outdoor cooking gear
- Camping stove/metal or plastic dishes and utensils
- Tents
- Sleeping bags (15-20 are needed)
- Backpacks (8-10 are needed)
- Kayaks
- Camping lanterns
- Camping chairs
- Camp stools
- Coolers
- Canteens
- Marshmallow roasting tongs
- Binoculars
- Flashlights (8-10 are needed)
- Mountain Bikes
- Ropes
- Carabineers
- Hiking boots
- Inflatable raft
- Oars
- Maps (4-6 are needed)
- Anything else you might think of!
Second, there is a need for snacks for VBS. Starting on May 3rd a snack tree will be available in the Narthex, on it you will find tags hanging with the needed snack items. If you can, please take a tag and purchase the item(s) and return it to the box in the Narthex by Sunday, May 24th. Please see Starla Davis or JJ Wells if you have any questions.
Finally, there is still a need for volunteers to help out in leadership roles and join in an incredible week of adventure and growing in God's love at Camp E.D.G.E! If you feel that God is guiding you in this direction please contact Starla Davis or JJ Wells.
