Dale Love Scholarship Fund

Dale Love Scholarship Fund: During the month of May we will take a special offering for the Dale Love Scholarship Fund. There will be applications in the Narthex for the Dale Love Memorial Scholarship and the Robert and Callie Goddard Memorial Scholarship. In order to be considered, the Memorial Scholarship Committee must receive completed applications by May 31.

2013 Hands On Mission Project

2013 Hands-On Mission Project: The Maryville District has been asked to put together 250 Food Buckets for the 2013 Holston Conference Hand-On Mission Project. There are buckets in the Narthex and information about contents of bucket is on the information center. A $5.00 donation for packing and shipping is to accompany each bucket. Make sure it is on top of the bucket (please do not put inside). The deadline to turn in buckets is Sunday, June 2.
Imagine on Malaria

MUMC made our GOAL! Our goal was to save 200 children with $2,000. As of now our total is 205 nets and $2,056! AMAZING, thank you to everyone that donated! This will help so many people. This project is not over, we will continue to collect money until Conference in June. It will be exciting to see how much we can exceed our goal. Drop your donations in the offering plate, in the memo put "No Malaria."
Summer Camp

It’s Time to Register for Summer Camp! All the information you need to sign up for summer camp at Camp Wesley Woods can be found at www.holstoncamping.com. Our church offers half off camp scholarships. Please see Karen Lewis for more information (to get the scholarship code). Last summer, we had around 10 children go to camp from our church and they had an excellent time!!! This summer I would love to see some youth attend camp!! Register your child for summer camp before April 1st for a $15 discount!

June 8, 8:00 a.m. Barter Theatre, “Southern Fried Funeral” Lunch at The Hardware Store’s Bone Fire Grill (11:30 am) preceding the play. Shopping as time allows. No breakfast stop. Cost is $60. Deadline is May 19.

Bake Sale for VBS: We will be having a bake sale in the Fellowship Hall on Sunday, May 19. It will be after both services and also before the 2nd service. The proceeds will benefit and help with this year's VBS. If you would like to provide something to be sold at the bake sale please see Starla Davis. Thank you!
Kingdom Rock VBS - June 2 - June 6 At Kingdom Rock, kids discover how to stand strong for God! At Kingdom Rock, we’ll help kids discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life – something we call God Sightings. The kids will also participate in a hands-on mission project, through a program called Operation Kid-to-Kid, that will let the kids in our community show God’s love to children in India. It all begins Sunday, June 2nd!! The fun begins at 6:00 p.m. and will end at 8:45 p.m. Dinner will be served again prior to VBS at 5:15p.m. Also be sure to invite your friends or family! VBS - Donation Request Board - Starting today there will be a bulletin board displayed in the Narthex. There are donation request forms on this board. There are items that we need for VBS and have listed them on this form. It may be items to purchase or items that we are asking you to donate and that will be returned at the conclusion of VBS. If you take a form please return the item by the date listed on the form. We will continue to add new forms to the board each week. Thank you so much for your continued support!
